About Andor's Trail
Discover the globe of Dhayavar looking for your brother Andor in this quest-driven fantasy RPG inspired by old-school classics like Ultima, Rogue and Legend of Zelda.
Battle creatures in turn-based combat, become stronger through level ups and skills, choose from a wide range of equipment, interact with numerous NPCs, visit shops, inns and taverns, search for treasure, and solve quests to follow the trail of your brother and uncover the secrets of the powers at play in Dhayavar. With luck, you may even find a legendary item!
You can currently visit up to 497 maps and complete up to 63 quests.
Android Pie (9.0) users: if you experience crashes after battles, avoid the options using "Short notifications" in the "Display creature loot" preference. We'll work around this android device bug soon.
The mobile game is completely free. There is no payment to install, no ads, no in-app purchases, and no DLCs. There is no internet access required, and it can run on all versions of Android device from 1.6 (Eclair), so it should run on any device, even low-end oldies.
Andor's Trail is open-source software, released under the GPL v2 license.

Andor's Trail is a work in progress, and while there is a lot of content to play, the mobile game isn't completed. You can participate in the development or give ideas on our forums too!
If you want to participate, we have released a content editor called ATCS, downloadable for free from www.andorstrail.com that makes it possible for anyone to make fresh material and expand the game, with no coding required! If you like the game, you can join others that have already made some of the content in the current release. You can see your own ideas come to life in a mobile game that hundreds of thousands of people have played!

When is the Andor's Trail World Map and Quests List going to be updated again? It's currently 7.0 and I'm 7.11 - a lot of new areas and quests that are not on the current one. And I'm reading about Nor existing now - so where is it?

Beach at the Troll bridge.
Go to the trail where the wood cutters and bees are. Before you cross the bridge you will see a path to the left. It will take you down to the waters edge. Follow the directions. Be sure to go back and get your gold.

One trick but your character must be somewhat strong to use this: From Stoutford go north to the mines, once in go west to the kitchen, kill the monsters and go west to the bedding area. No monsters enter here, and you can sleep here to regain health. This means you can go west, or east to battle monsters and return here to regain health, the monsters give decent gold and from 127 to 209 experience when killed! In the northern most area of the room to the west of the bedding room there is a bar of silver worth over 200 gold! You can quickly level up in this place repeating the cycle of monster slaying and resting...

In the beginning kill small small dogs and sell any meat you get from them, also when you are stronger find the snake cave Southwest of the starting town, as you go south there is a canyon to west with ants in it and the entrance to the cave. The cave contains a lot of snakes from which you get: experience, gold, meat, and sometimes poison glands. There are a couple of basilisks and and a few snake servants, (skeletons in robes that give: experience, gold, and sometimes rubies and/or small health potions), and the first run through there is a boss snake servant.
